Wenn Deramas was a Filipino film and television director, producer, and writer. He was born on May 16, 1966, in Manila, Philippines, and passed away on February 29, 2016, due to a heart attack. He was known for his comedy films and TV shows, including the popular TV series "Ang Probinsyano" and the films "The Unkabogable Praybeyt Benjamin" and "Sisterakas." He started his career as a production assistant in the late 1980s before becoming a director in the 1990s. During his 25-year career, Deramas directed over 40 films and produced and wrote several TV shows. Deramas was widely recognized as one of the most successful directors of Philippine comedy films.
